A strong impression of depth on the almost flat surface of the spatial image was achieved by the collapse of the proportions of objects and the character itself.
Beauty affects us through shape, colour, dimension.
The impression of depth in spatial images is the main challenge for relief artists. Of course, this problem does not exist when working with full sculpture, which is inherently three-dimensional. However, bas-relief is a completely different story. Imagine a hand clenched into a fist. The hand is not flat but more round. However, on a bas-relief it is made on a flat surface. So why do we feel oval? To achieve this effect, the creator breaks with the logic of shapes and harnesses the imagination. When the work is completed, looking at it from a significant angle, we will notice a clear lack of proportions. However, looking perpendicularly, everything is fine. You will see roundness where there are almost exclusively flats.
Wall bas-relief is in line with current decorative trends in many countries.
This relief is made of the best quality materials available on the global gypsum and resin market used by artists around the world.
